Full Landscape Design Package
Whether creating a reimagined landscape plan for your existing home or developing a landscape plan for your newly constructed home, the full landscape design package includes a comprehensive list of services.
Initial 2-3 hour onsite consultation.
Site survey and assessment.
Conceptual planning and discussions.
Plant and hardscape material selections.
Draft drawings, reviews, and final decisions.
Final, detailed landscape plan ready for bid.
Drawings may include any of the following, depending on the project scope, complexity, and specifics: 2D black & white line rendering, 2D color rendering, image overlays on photos, hand sketches (digital or paper), 3D rendering.
Coordination and consultation with contractors.
Post-installation photos.
Customized Garden Design
Consultative garden design services with detailed planting plans for those interested in DIY installation and/or contractor installation. Every yard, garden, and client is unique and has specific outdoor space needs. Let’s explore the possibilities!
For those who may want to:
- focus on one specific aspect of their outdoor space
- create a plan for a garden area within their broader landscape
- revamp one or more beds, borders, pathways or a seating area
Examples of services include:
Garden area design or re-design — turning an unused grass side yard into a color-filled garden retreat, creating a new raised bed area for fruit & vegetables, or changing the shape and flow of existing beds, borders, and pathways.
Guidance with plant selection and developing a detailed planting plan for new beds and borders.
Soil and sun/shade analysis.
Reworking and reinvigorating the planting within an existing garden bed or border.
Creating privacy and screening in your backyard.
Hardscape design and material selection.

Pricing
Each client, site, budget, and resulting custom design plan is unique.
Therefore, the design fees for each project are quoted following the initial onsite consultation, once the scope and specific services have been determined.
The initial onsite consultation typically takes 2-3 hours and the fee is $150. If the client chooses to move forward with GreenPen Landscape Design services, the initial consultation fee will be applied against the total project design fee.
Most design fees will be invoiced upon delivery of the final landscape plan, with the amount based upon the project scope and other factors, as agreed to by the client. However, for larger or multi-phase projects, a schedule of payments may be followed.
Any significant revisions, modifications or additions to the plan outside of the initial agreed upon scope, which includes up to two complimentary revisions, may require an additional fee, as agreed to by the client.
Assistance with plan submittals to municipalities or HOA architectural control committees will be billed by the hour, as requested and agreed to by the client.
Garden consultations are available and will be billed by the hour, as agreed to by the client.
