GreenPen Landscape Design was founded to guide and help clients turn their landscape and garden dreams into reality through customized and consultative landscape design services, for any property size or budget.

My work in landscape and garden design stems from an abiding passion for creative expression through design, gardening, creating a beautiful landscape, and helping others to see the possibilities in their own yards and gardens.

I have a wide range of professional, educational, and personal experiences that I draw from. In addition to landscape design, these areas range from real estate development and site analysis/design to construction and financial management. I also had the honor to serve in the United States military during the GWOT.

I love spending time with my family and, having grown up in Idaho, spending as much time as I can outdoors. I also spend a considerable amount of very enjoyable (albeit labor intensive) time creating and tending to our garden, Shortmeadow, set in just over an acre. Our garden is heavily influenced by English country gardens, especially Monty Don’s garden, Longmeadow, in Herefordshire.
